The Author of Fergus ferry
John Williamson-Noble is an Australian part-time writer of children’s stories. John is the creative genius behind the Fergus Ferry line of children’s books. John wrote most of the Fergus Ferry stories while travelling to work on the Rose Bay ferry. After telling them to his young son as part of their Sunday activities, John realised that these stories had immense potential to be appreciated by a larger audience. Many of the Fergus Ferry stories are a result of the collaboration between John and his son, Tom.
Fergus Ferry is the central character in a series of children’s books written by John Williamson-Noble. Fergus is a ferry that roams around the Sydney Bay area and has lots of exciting adventures. The Fergus Ferry series of children’s books are picture books that are suitable for children aged four and above. In addition to the main series of picture books, there are also several add-on materials in the Fergus Ferry domain. All of these add-on materials are available free-of-charge on the Fergus Ferry website.
There are several Fergus Ferry games that are available; these games are suitable for a similar age group as the books. There is also a separate section dedicated to Fergus ‘facts’, where children can learn about the history of various locations in the larger Sydney Bay area in a fun and interactive way. Introducing your child to the Fergus Ferry series is a great way to get them to learn and have fun at the same time. All of the Fergus Ferry books can be purchased through the online website, namely www.fergusferry.com
