Family Fun Planet
Little big planet is an excellent game for all of the family — young and old, my teenage daughters and their grandmother love to play this cute little game as its not hard to just pick up the controller and start playing. There are not that many buttons you need to know to start playing immediately.
You get a little sack boy or girl and you can customise the way they look be either changing their skin or dressing them up with the many different combinations of clothing. There are also stickers that you can use to help give you an original looking sack person. This can be very addictive and you can purchase or get free other costumes from the play-station network.
The levels are set out in a 2d fashion with 3 levels of game play and you and your partners have to help each other to get through them collecting bubbles along the way, these bubbles contain more upgrades of either stickers or level items to use when your building your own levels. The levels on the main quests are breathtaking and very fun to play especially with others.
One of the best features of little big planet is the level editor, all the levels you play in the main quests were made using the exact same editor you have access to, which means you can build your own levels with all the same building blocks that were used. This has also opened up a huge following of people who love to just build levels, you can go online and play these levels that the little big planet community has created which is superb as there is no end to the amount of game play this games has, in fact sometimes that`s all my daughters play.
Yes you do need a PlayStation 3 as it has not been released to any other platform as of yet but, with this you get one of the best family games ever made for any game console, we have had this game for nearly a year now and the children have never got tired of it. You also get a blue ray player with it so will also use it as our main DVD, blue ray player in the house, unlike the Xbox 360 you do not have to pay anything monthly to play online.
