Chicagoans and visitors will join in the fun and bright, no specific site video and sound installation by Chicago-based artists, Luftwerk, which will illuminate Cloud Gate Millennium Park in Chicago from 10-20 September. Family activities, live performances and dance events will complement the installation that will transform the park into a digital canvas of light and geometric shapes, with music composed by Owen Clayton Condon of Chicago Third Coast Percussion.

Tags Visitors can enjoy spectacular installation every night (6:00 to 10:00 FridaysSaturdays, SundaysThursdays 18:00 to 9:00) and to participate in programs designed specifically for light fields on the weekends and adjacent hot tent in Millennium Park Chase to the north. All activities are free.

enjoy dancing lessons and dance party at the indoor heated tent before heading to see the illuminated field. Dance was preceded by one hour lessons under the guidance of professional instructors. Doors open 30 minutes before the start of each session. No reservations necessary, but space is limited.

Luftwerk artistic collaboration of Peter and Sean Bachmaier Galleria, and the Graduate School of Art Institute of Chicago.
