Why it is called ‘Trilogy” Well, it is because it may be worn as a wistwatch by attatching it with a alligator strap, a pocket watch when attatched to a gold chain or a desk clock.. And it has another interesting feature: the maid dial reproduces the Leonardo Da Vinci’s immortal Mona Lisa.You know it is almost a mission impossible to copy Mona Lisa in a tiny miniature on mother of pearl. But the artist of Bovet made it and made it perfect after one-month painful efforts.
Sized at 42mm, the watch has a small pocket watch look in 18k rose gold. The case has hand-carved Fleurisanne engraving on the flanks, the lugs, and the curved bow. The watch crown ane the outer hinge of the bow has been set with blue sapphire cabochons.
And the dial is present on Tahitian mother of pearl with unique display of minuted and hours: the rotating ring around the edge display the minutes while the the jump hour window near right shoulder of Mona Lisa showcases hours.Beating inside the one-off watch is a Swiss automatic automatic movement with an 22k gold rotor.
The Bovet Trilogy “Mona Lisa” watch comes with a magnificent case made of burled hardwood.
