Do You Think about Farming World of Warcraft Arcanist Doan

Published by admin under Uncategorized

Arcanist Doan in Scarlet Monastery is a well rewarding boss. He drops some very nice loot that you can probably use or sell if you prefer. Hypnotic Blade sells for 1 gold 27 silver, Illusionary Rod for 1 gold 59 silver, Robe of Doan for 40 silver and Mantle of Doan for 30s. Arcanist Doan is a level 37 boss located in the far right SM instance. Would be an ideal mob if you are level 40 rogue, thus you can just stealth your way in.

Arcanist Doan is immune to cheat, you can start by using Ambush or Garrote. He castes Arcane Explosion often which hits for about 200 damage. Be sure to have alot of hit points. When his hit point reaches 50% he’ll put up a blue barrier and charges up Detonation. It hits for a whooping 800 damage, be sure to run to the other side of the room otherwise you’re going to get hit hard. To avoid this, engage the fight while he walks to a corner of the room. You will have around 5 seconds to jet to the other side before getting hit. An important part during this portion is to use first aid while he’s busy casting Detonation. Once he’s done casting run around for your first aid to finish up healing before charging at him again. Now just charge back at him and finish up until he dies, use a potion if needed. He will drop 2 of the 4 items mentioned above. It’s 2 gold per around which takes about 5 minutes. That’s 24 gold per hour.

Now just hack at him, use a potion if needed, until he dies. He’ll drop 2 items: a Hypnotic Blade/Illusionary Rod And Mantle of Doan/Robe of Doan. Goes for about 2 gold pieces per kill. It takes about 5 minutes for this whole sequence. So now we wait an hour for the instance to repop? NO! Here’s a neat trick. Make sure you have a bot or a friend in group with you. He can be anywhere on the other continent if he wants. After you kill Doan and come out of the instance, have him make you party leader, then he leaves group and invites you again. The instance is reset with a new Arcanist Doan. I can easily average about 20 gold per hour.

Jay-Z Tickets – A Radiohead-Jay-Z Mash-Up Album Gives You New Reason to Hear Old Hits

Published by admin under Uncategorized

They say the most flattering artistic compliment is appropriation (sometimes known as ripping off someone else’s work). If that’s true, then Jay-Z must be feeling anything but humble these days. He’s already an imposing figure in hip-hop, but his appeal spread outside of hip-hop circles when DJ Dangermouse crafted The Grey Album, a mash-up work fusing Jay-Z’s The Black Album with the Beatles’ The White Album.

Now, fans are finding his music fused with another band-indie rock gods Radiohead. Jaydiohead, as the album is known, is the creation of Minty Fresh Beats, an electronic music artist who stirred up attention from a variety of music sites once word got around the blogosphere that he had merged hit songs from both Jay-Z and Radiohead. “99 Anthems,” for example, fuses the vocals of “99 Problems” with “The National Anthem”; “Dirt Off Your Android” blends “Dirt Off Your Shoulder” and “Paranoid Android.” The work has received mixed reviews, though to some degree this is predictable. Mash-ups are largely considered passé by some reviewers, while other artists, such as Girl Talk, seem to be earning plenty of praise for their continued work in the genre.

This is sure to work out well for Jay-Z-the rapper is still touring and Jay Z tickets at http://www.stubhub.com/jay-z-tickets are sure to sell even better with new listeners being exposed to his music. And it certainly represents an achievement for Minty Fresh Beats, who appears to have been “discovered” through this record. But for those unfamiliar with mash-ups, here’s a definitive list of where to start if you’re looking for specific albums to pick up and enjoy the genre.

Jaydiohead-Minty Fresh Beats: Available at http://Jaydiohead.com. Mash-ups can sometimes seem unnecessary. Two songs really have to mesh well for the song to work, and rap often works well, because you can layer vocal tracks down over a well-known rock song and have something that sounds entirely different. Minty Fresh Beats seems able to find just the right songs to be layered together. Definitely worth giving a listen if you’re a Jay-Z fan or new to the music.

The Grey Album-DJ Dangermouse: A phenomenon when it was first released, The Grey Album remains a mash-up touchstone. Again, if you love Jay-Z, or don’t mind hearing the Beatles re-contextualized, then you should definitely seek this out.

Feed the Animals-Girl Talk: A super hit in 2008, Girl Talk’s fourth album continues to mix pop songs, country tunes, Top 40 club hits and indie rock. What he mashes up isn’t quite as coherent as the Jay-Z remixes, or other mash-up works, for that matter. But it is a style of music that’s totally distinct from anything else. If you don’t have an aversion to pop music, definitely try this.

As Heard on Radio Soulwax-2 Many DJs: Two members of the band Soulwax had a lot of fun as 2 Many DJs, heading a radio show that mashed-up a wide, wide variety of music. Who else would have thought of mashing Dolly Parton with Royksopp? Or the “Peter Gunn Theme” with “Where’s Your Head At?” Definitely required listening.

Since I Left You-The Avalanches: The Avalanches sole LP, released in 2000 before they seemed to disappear off the face of the earth, was a revolution in mixing and appropriation. It’s rumored to contain literally thousands of vinyl samples. Most importantly of all, it’s still a fantastic record, and probably the most seamless listen of all these selections. Make sure you pick this up.

Primal Scream Tickets – English Electro-Rockers Are Headed Back to America

Published by admin under Uncategorized

Primal Scream is a band that’s lived up to its name. Forming after lead singer Bobby Gillespie quit his role as drummer for The Jesus and Mary Chain, the band spent the next two decades constantly reinventing itself-often to the frustration or derision of fans. But the one thing you can’t accuse the band of is growing stagnant. Primal Scream has gone from hard garage rock to producing one of the most infamous records to come out of the early ’90s rave U.K. rave scene, Screamdelica. All in all, they’ve played a big role in paving the road for alternative bands in the U.K., with many critics pointing out that, while it was totally different kind of music, Screamdelica represented a change in mainstream tastes similar to the one brought on by Nirvana’s Nevermind in the U.S.

Primal Scream formed in 1984, with Gillespie still working as a drummer in The Jesus and Mary Chain. His side project became his sole project in 1986, and the band released an album’s worth of mediocre but well-received ’60s rock revival music. 1987 saw their debut, Sonic Flower Groove, while 1989 saw the release of a self-titled record that saw them experimenting with harder, noisier garage-rock. The band appeared to be flailing a bit, trying to find their sound.

In the late ’80s, the underground rock scene was starting to be upstaged by the Technicolor circus of the rave culture. With bands like New Order and the Happy Mondays becoming alternative stars and dance acts as well, Primal Scream saw an opportunity. They asked DJ Andrew Weatherall to have a go remixing one of the best songs of their self-titled record, “I’m Losing More Than I Ever Had.” He transformed it into something almost totally unrecognizable: A beat-driven dance song with an audio clip of Peter Fonda. The track was retitled “Loaded” and turned out to be a radio hit. Not long after, Weatherall signed on, along with a couple other producers, to collaborate with Primal Scream on a third record. This would turn out to be the band’s most successful work, Screamdelica. Fusing house and acid-fried rock, the album was unlike anything else available, and helped make electronic music-long a genre frequented only by gearheads-palatable to mainstream music listeners. Ever since, electronic music has been significantly more popular among the mainstream in the U.K. than it has been in the U.S.

Seeming to have proven themselves in the field of electronic music, the band moved back to traditional hard rock-only to find that their audiences expected more electronic-based songs. Their fourth album, Give Out But Don’t Give Up, was universally considered a failure. Their next two records, 1997’s Vanishing Point and 2000’s XTRMNTR, were excellent, mind-warping electronic classics. They managed to walk the line between the punk aggression of rock and the catchy beats of dance music. They returned in 2002 with the mediocre Evil Heat and in 2006 with the decent traditional rock of Riot City Blues before 2008’s Beautiful Future.
